"Bette is an advocate for not
only the geriatric client, but also the caregiver and offers
classes to both and speaks to groups to increase the awareness
regarding their needs. Bette is passionate about caring for the
geriatric client and providing tools, skills, and direction to
both the client, as well as their caregivers. Anyone who is in
Bette's presence quickly feels her energy, passion, and
enthusiasm. I highly recommend Bette as she is truly an expert
in geriatric care." Bobbie Hoover, RN, BSN, MA, Ed.D,

"Bette interviewed my mother and
me, tested her memory and cognition, studied her living
arrangements including the layout of her rooms, and reviewed her
medication to write a comprehensive report. She gave me some
recommendation right away that I could begin to secure her
surrounding and ways to increase her nutritional intake. Later
she sent me a report outlining all the medication and possible
side effects that are affecting mom's alertness. That gave me
something to talk to her doctors about and question the amount
and the variety of medication she is taking. She reviewed the
report with me personally afterwards and answered my questions."

"Facing my third bladder attack, I had resigned myself to
becoming an old lady who had to stay home because of
incontinency. Then I was introduced to Bette Light,
who has become my "Continence Coach". She has taught
me exercises to strengthen muscles. She taught me the
effects of certain medications and foods that can irritate
the bladder. Dropping just one artificial sweetener
made a world of posititve difference for me.
After following Bette's coaching, I cancelled the
appointment with the surgeon. I am thankful that I can
carry on with my normal activities without worry."
